We have had the pleasure of knowing and working with Clarke Inghram since early in June, 2002. He was referred to us by a friend as a sincere and caring dog trainer. At the time, we were having great difficulty with our 5 month old puppy’s obedience. The puppy was constantly biting and we wondered if we would ever have the family pet that we wanted.
We have found Clarke to be a true expert at not only training our dog, but, also, in training us to handle our dog! Through Clarke, we now have a dog that is developing good habits and behavior. Clarke seems to have a unique ability to discern how each family member individually needs to interact with our dog successfully. He is a great “psychologist” and has been consistently correct in “reading” each of us. Clarke is very clear, patient, and tactful in dealing with us and our dog. He genuinely cares and loves our dog, and that respect and love is returned by our dog and family.
Unlike another dog class which we attended, this has been an ongoing experience. We have all had success and have built more and more skills. As we have encountered numerous problems along the way, we have been amazed at Clarke’s imagination and skill with successfully dealing with each problem.
Although Clarke is continually working with a number of dogs and their families, we have always felt that we have received special and devoted attention. His follow-up home visits have been exceptionally helpful as we have been reacquainting our dog with being a part of our family under a new set of rules.
In closing, we have found Mr. Inghram to be a good, professional, and honest person. He is an expert dog trainer, and a responsible and dependable businessman. We feel that these characteristics will not change as his business grows. They will, however, be huge contributing factors in the success that we believe he will experience with all types of people and their dogs. We would not hesitate to refer anyone to him as we are confident that they will benefit as tremendously as we have.
