Paws For Hope is a non-profit organization that provides Service Dogs
to disabled veterans. Our dogs
are placed with veterans upon completion of our 18-month program.
Your support helps us match a trained Service Dog
with a veteran in need of assistance. Both the dog and the veteran benefit from the services and companionship they share. In accomplishing this mission, we do not want to create an additional burden on the veteran; with each dog / veteran match we provide all of the necessary equipment for them to start their new life together. In addition, the service animal will be healthy and up to date on all vaccinations. Your donation helps us to ensure our veterans have everything they need. Please contact our office if you wish to make a monetary donation.
Our first service dog Merlin, has been placed. Merlin is a “companion service dog” to Jose Pequeño. José Pequeño was a Staff Sergeant in the New Hampshire National Guard when he volunteered to deploy to Iraq. While on duty, he was calling in about a suicide bomber when an insurgent tossed a grenade into his Humvee. Merlin has made a great companion to Jose, and is an integral part of Jose’s therapy.
